Introduction:
Rune Factory is not one of the mainstream Harvest Moon games, but rather a sort of spin-off game that combines some of the main elements of HM (farming, raising animals, and marriage) with a more traditional RPG-type game (swordfighting). The story begins when a young man, Raguna (or Laguna; you can change his name to whatever you want, of course) stumbles on to the farm of a young woman named Mist. Raguna has no idea what he's doing there or who he is. Mist gives him food and water (after a little misunderstanding in which Mist gives him both a hoe and a watering can) and then offers him an abandoned farm just north of her place. From there, the game begins.
