|Though there were rumblings before that Natsume was poised to announce their localization of Rune Factory Oceans, it's not been officially confirmed by Siliconera in this story: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/16/rune-factory-tides-of-destiny-crossing-ocean-lands-in-north-america-this-year/
The most exciting note is probably that Natsume is hoping to release it later this year. In light of some of their previous pushbacks this should be taken with a grain of salt, but it's still exciting.

I'm sad to say that I'm not so interested in this game anymore... when it was first announced, I was super excited that there'd finally be a rf game where you can play as a girl, but you don't really.... I mean, you do but... it's not the same as being able to choose "girl" in the beginning and play as her the whole game... plus there aren't any good guys :I
And I was never into the rf games... I tried frontier, but I didn't get past the first spring before selling it haha...

|If SkarletFantasy was to take a deeper look at RF:Tides of Destiny, maybe the comment would have more meaning. Tides is trying new systems all across the board. Some better features are; better faster fighting system, monster driven farming that encourages monster taming, lack of the 'runey' food chain system that half killed Frontier, easier to use map that tracks NPCs, unique travel and exploration not just for the series, etc. Yeah, much of this can be found on RF3. However, this is the first for consoles. Consoles as in RF:Tides of Destiny is heading to Wii and PS3 which is another first for the series. A deep look at the gameplay features shows that this a learning entry for Neverland, much like FF13 was for Square. (Though, I doubt as bad of a mistake.) They are trying many new things, one is being able to play as a girl. That feature was added late in development. Taking risks and trying out new gameplay features is always better than not, so long as it's fun.|
As far as not playing Rune Factory Frontier past first year spring is odd. Unless you read about the 'runey' system you wouldn't know how bad it was. That would've helped your comment. Why come here to post about it?
I late on this post and by far have more information on RFTides, but this post is still meaningful.
