Harvest Moon playthrough time! We haven't really done one of these since summer, so I think we should start a new one. This one will focus on where the series started, to get a certain respect for just how good the games are. There might even be rewards for people who are the most committed to reliving the past.

Games:
Back to Nature/ Boy and Girl
64
SNES

We're trying to keep these console related; the Gameboy games lack certain playthrough qualities that would disrupt the simplification of the event.

Schedule
November 27th - January 3rd

Hopefully we can all find some time after Thanksgiving and Christmas to have some fun? The probability of playing during or after Christmas seemse unlikely. If this becomes popular enough, it can be subject to change for an extended period of time.

If anyone wants to make graphics, I might be able to make a small website.

Gah. As much as I'd love to, I'm actually in the middle of playing Hero of Leaf Valley. I suppose I can pick up SNES again in my spare time, though.

I'd love to do BtN or 64, but since I lack both of those I'll just download SNES off Virtual Consle. Should be interesting since I've never played it before or heard much about it.

I will try and find Back to Nature. Since that's only old game I have been able to get yet -_-. They have the SNES version for Wii Virtual Console ? I didn't know that. I will try and get that but needs more Wii Points first.

The "other means" require you to be able to be bad. :D

I'm also "a young man who is distinctly not a raccoon." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Looking forward to starting this. Should give me something to do for a while.

What exactly does this mean?

I have recently started playing Boy and Girl again, but probably wont get too far into it until winter break. And I still have BTN and my brother's old farm animals to cheat with.

Well.. I mean are we suppose to post our progress, talk about it, or just do it for ourselves?

The point is to actively discuss our progress. It would be boring to just play otherwise. Really, the discussion aspect is more important than anything else.

crud, I would've had fun doing this but I don't own any of those games {guuh, I know...} and I don't know if I'm in the mood for it really. Maybe if we do one in the new year and it's one of the games I own I will, but hope the rest of you have fun.

I'm planning on getting wii points, so if I get a bit more than a thousand I might be able to own the SNES version for good.... If onlY I could do the same with 64....
And I've been meaning to start up Back to Nature for ever. What if I'm able to persuade my brother to have the PS2 in my room instead of his....? Then I'd defianetly play. And I've always wanted to do one of this. Just always caught me at a bad time. D':

I WILL TRY MY BEST!
Should I marry Elli again? Or go for Ann or Karen....?

EDIT: Heh. Since he doesn't want me to be in his room, he said I could have it with no argument. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
