Introduction
The ninth installment in the series, a remake of Harvest Moon: Back to Nature released for Gameboy Advance. The game was remade to have the option to play as a female protagonist, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town.The protagonist of the series, Jack, visited the country as a child as his parents believed it would be good for him. However, during the trip, he becomes lost and wounds up in Mineral Town on an old man's farm. After arrangements are made, he stays on the farm for a while, making friends and farming. As he goes back to the city, he continues to exchange letters with the old man, but one day the letters cease, and concerned for his health, the protagonist's visits his farm only to discover that he has passed away. The Mayor of the town asks him to take care of the farm for the old man, and happily agreeing, starts a new life in the country.
Friends of Mineral Town is able to connect with Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for the GameCube and Harvest Moon: DS to unlock even more bonuses for all games.
