Harvest Moon GB/C was the second Harvest Moon created, and was also the first for the gamebody series. Though, it was very simplistic and had many drawbacks, it was still quite addictive. Unlike most other Harvest Moons, all you did in this was one was farm.
You could not befriend the villagers, or even walk around anywhere in the town. All you really had was a town menu, and the farm. This wasn't a problem, though, as Harvest Moon is about the farming, but it did get a little boring once you had done everything farm related. Anyhow, the game was still fun, and it wouldn't hurt to try! The farming aspect in this game was one of the better types in the series, too
Your Grandfather dies and you are upset of this loss. Then in a dream one night, you see a vision of your Grandfather's spirit. He tells you to take over the ranch and to build it up into a wonderful place. At the end of the year his spirit will return and evaluate your work. What you get from him depends on the quality of your work
