Grab hold of your your controller and get ready, 'cos this game will have you literally taking care of your farm! Using the Wii's tilt-sensitive controller, you'll be plowing the ground by moving your hand, or even watering your crops at the wiggle of your wrist. Whether you like it or not, using a new character designer, Tree of Tranquility takes Harvest Moon in a completely new direction; but change is always good, right? Eitherway, the Great Tree of Peace has withered, and taken the Goddess along too: it's up to you to not only restore the farm, but the fate of the land also rests in your hands.
- Play as a boy or a girl
- Eight new bachelors and bachelorettes
- Choose where your farm is located from three different areas
- Explore a southern island
- Rescue the Harvest Goddess and help revive the land!

- Part-time jobs at the stores
- Introduces ostriches, which can lay eggs and be used for transportation

When Calvin gives you his 5-heart request, the Wii is frozen completely. There is a 100% occurrence for all copies which are bought before April 2009 (which is when Natsume has fixed the glitch), which means all players of this game will suffer from this glitch when triggered for all copies bought before April 2009 . So if you're a female player, you will not be able to marry Calvin in those copies. Unless you bought this after April 2009, you will suffer from this glitch.
