Introduction
Harvest Moon: Boy and Girl is a port of the original Back to Nature for the PlayStation. This time, however, it introduces the For Girl's version of the series that was previously unreleased in English, making it unique if not just for this reason. You can play as either Destiny or Fate.
Random Fact: This game's title literally translates as "Ranch Story Harvest Moon: Boy and Girl" - making it possibly the only Harvest Moon game with Harvest Moon in its Japanese title.
Story
Boy Story
You are a young man coming to your Grandfather's old, withered farm to try and rebuild it to it's former glory. The mayor says that you have 3 years to get this task done. If you do well, the Villagers will accept you and you can continue with the farm. But, if you do not succeed, you will be forced to leave. Time to get cracking!
Girl Story
Washed up on a beach from a horrible storm at sea, you are brought back to a farm unconscious dreaming about your experiences on the boat. You keep remembering being with an older man telling you you have all the time in the world, because you are young and ready. The mayor offers for you to stay there on the farm when you come to, which you accept. But, a young man in the town apparently helped you to safety in your time of need. Who is the mystery man? Only one way to find out! Build up this wreck of a farm and find the guy that saved you!
